Community Forums Guidelines


General Code of Ethics

  • No SHOUTING.  Remember, using ALL CAPITAL LETTERS in posts is considered yelling and rude, plus it is difficult to read.
  • No posts that attack, insult, "flame", defame, or abuse members or non-members.   Respect other members of the community and don’t belittle, make fun off, or insult another member or non-member. Agree to disagree. This applies to both the forums and any other comments posted on the Community Forum by members.
  • Do not post “offensive” posts, links or images. Any material which constitutes defamation, harassment, or abuse is strictly prohibited. Material that is sexually or otherwise obscene, racist, or otherwise overly discriminatory is not permitted on these forums. This includes user pictures. Use common sense while posting.
  • Any types of scam related topics/contents are not allowed.
  • No Backseat Moderating. Let the moderators do the moderating. Backseat moderating is when people who are not moderators try to enforce the forum rules. If you see a person breaking the rules, take advantage of the Press the Report Button or simply ignore the offensive topic or post.
  • Advertising in any way (except in the Advertisement section and the Advertising sections of each international section) is prohibited
  • Creating a new account to: 1. Avoid Punishment, 2. Continue violating the rule or near such; are not allowed and can lead to IP Banning.
  • Advertising any external product/material is strictly prohibited.

Posting

  • Each forums are designed to a particular needs and wants of the people within the community. If you post a topic not designed to be located in the particular forum, it will be considered as Spam. So always place your thread in the write forum or communicate in thread designed to discuss the same particular topic on it.
  • Duplicate topics are not allowed, even if they are posted in different sections. Post your topic once, in the correct section. If you accidentally post in the wrong section, use the Report button to report your own post, our specific moderator or global moderators will handle the situation for you.
  • If URL isn't working, kindly notify the user that post the URL, do not report the post, it will be considered spam.

Languages

  • English language must be used and will be strictly observed within all Forums. If you are having problem communicating with English, you can discuss this to an international forum section if it exist. If this particular forum doesn't exist, kindly contact Global Moderators regarding to it.

Images/Avatar/Signature

  • Signatures images max size is (500p x 150px) allowing only 2 images and 5 lines of text and 3 links on it.
  • General Code of Ethics still applies to the content of the signature.
  • Any images/avatar/signature that violates the community guidelines will removed anytime by a moderator.

 

Game Guidelines

  • Players must be able to write and understand simple English. We do not ask for perfection, but a high enough level to be able to communicate with others. One-RO Staff will be speaking to you in English, and we expect you to translate any One-RO Staff communication to your understanding.

The following are the main guidelines. Failure to do so, can result in a permanent account ban:

  • This rule applies outside the game as well and will result in a permanent ban for all players involved.
  • Do not try to cheat. If the System detects it and the Staff was able to review it, can result your account to be permanently ban.
  • Staff impersonation is strictly prohibited. This includes inappropriate usage of staff names on homunculus and pet names.
  • Advertising of other server are strictly not allowed. Discussion is allowed but promotion is another thing.
  • Bug Exploitation and using it as advantage is not allowed. When found a problem within the game, report immediately to One-RO Staff.
  • Never report a One-RO Staff without evidence.
    • All reports must be reported to Server Management in order to start investigation regarding to the report.
    • Reports and discussion regarding to the report is to be discussed publicly in order to provide equal and transparent investigation.
    • One-RO Staff don't tolerate any types of Abuse by its own players to it's Staff or vice versa.
  • Intended fraudulent transaction to One-RO regarding donations, can result to negative reputation to the staff which can lead to slow responds to the person.
  • Do not scam other players. Do not attempt to deceive and defraud any player e.g. by attempting to pass one item as another or using misleading shop titles. Any such action, including stealing items from others and keeping borrowed gears may result in a permanent ban.
    • You are encouraged to report players who scam you through One-RO Community Forums or Discord.
    • Account sharing is discouraged and you are fully responsible for the actions of whoever is playing on your account or device.
    • Lending of items or zeny to other players is done at your own risk.
    • In all cases, the disputed items and characters will be permanently lost and not returned.
  • Be respectful. This goes towards players, staff, the server, other people's opinions, etc. You are allowed to argue for yourself, but please stay respectful while doing so.
  • Excessive and extended Trolling/Flaming with other players or staff can result to character jail/mute, minimum duration is a day and can increase depending on the Staff that will handle the situation.
  • Punishment and conflict resolution is to be kept private between the sanctioned player and the GM team.
  • Punishments are subject to the staff's discretion. Any form of questioning after the staff has come to a resolution from either the sanctioned or a third party can result in a punishment.
  • Vending/Buying stalls and PUB title must not contain any offensive or hurtful information to the Server, Staff or other players.
  • Intentional feeding in PvP/WoE/Event related will result to account ban.

Rules are not limited to those written here. Just because it is not specifically mentioned does not mean it is allowed. Please use common sense.

The following rules are subject to change.

  • Users that do not abide by the rules may be subject to having their posts edited or deleted, their member account permanently banned from further access and/or deleted without notice.
